Nota prévia à “série bainhas abertas” / Previous note to “drawn threads series”

Já diversas vezes afirmei que sou amadora, com estas linhas e agulhas.
Com esta série pretendo partilhar o que sei, como eu faço e aprender convosco. Espero, portanto, muita participação. Sei que há sempre várias maneiras de fazer a mesma coisa – aqui vou referir como, a mim, me dá mais jeito. Mas também gostava de aprender alternativas. Por isso participem e corrijam-me, por favor!
Os dois primeiros artigos são dirigidos a principiantes, pois lembro-me bem as asneiras que fiz, quando comecei… por não ter tido em conta certos pormenores.

I’ve stated several times that I am an amateur, with these needles and threads. With this series I intend to share what I know, as I do and learn from you. So I hope much participation. I know there are always several ways to do the same thing – here I only can refer to my way. But I would enjoy learning alternatives too. Please participate in and correct me both the techniques and my English as well! (I’m afraid about the technical terms)
The first two articles are aimed at beginners, because I well remember the bad things I did when I started … not taking account of certain details.
