Once I felt comfortable with the Guimarães Embroidery, started studying Viana do Castelo Embroidery. Still need to learn the most difficult (and so is disappearing …): the Viana openwork. I’ve been further. I’ll learn openwork from Guimarães and Nisa – at least ;)

Traycloth to a French couple who comes to spend their honeymoon in Portugal. I’ve chosen the most traditional  Viana embroidery , because it just has the same colors of the French flag! Hope they enjoy.
