o que não deve acontecer / what might not happen

…mas acontece! lembram-se disto? ao desfazer o ponto ajour, aconteceu o que não deve!

e agora? há que resolver – vou mostrar como fiz e penso que resultou

com linha de coser à máquina passei dois/três fios na vertical (deveria ter passado a linha um fio do linho mais acima…) e continuei a fazer o ajour deste lado;
i made two/three extra threads in vertical with sewing thread (maybe i might have done them at a higher row…) and went on with the ajour stitch this row;

o problema estava do outro lado, ao fazer o ajour duplo – no grupo de fios anterior ao problema tentei apanhar parte  daqueles fios desfeitos; (estou a trabalhar no avesso)
all the trouble was the other row, doing ladder stitch – at the cluster just before the trouble i tried to catch some of those cut haired threads; (i’m working on back side)
taking up some of the hairy threads – from the beginning I knew I have to catch two threads of linen (not one as usual) in order to join that crasy thread along the hem
a apanhar os tais fios desfeitos – desde o início que percebi que tinha que apanhar dois fios do linho (e não um como de costume) para juntar aquele fio que fugiu a toda a volta da bainha, penso que por causa de tanta volta que dei ao trabalho!
