I’m back (again)…

These absences are becoming a routine. But I can tell you it’s wonderful to arrive home and have a package full of beautiful things waiting for you!

The package arrived from Mary, all the way from USA! I’m overwhelmed by your kindness.

As I’ve told you before, more than once, Mary has a wonderful blog for those who loves embroidery. There we learn so much, really so much, it’s impossible to list everything. You can find there all about needles and threads, since stitch videos to the History of several embroideries, many different patterns for embroidering, book reviews, where to buy better on-line, tips and tricks, advices, etc., etc.. Better taking a look at the index.
And almost each month she has a great giveaway!

What did I do to deserve such beautiful things? In fact I don’t deserve it.
I’ve just sent Mary a little package with a little magazine about Castelo Branco embroidery, few silks from Castelo Branco just in return to all I’ve learnt in her blog and all the supportive words and advises she is always ready to write to me.
This is a very special Friendship. From miles away!
THANK YOU, Mary! You are a wonderful person. Life is better with people like you.

Now I have to think very well what I’ll do with all these wonderful things. First of all I’ll put in use the German hoop, the Mary’s favorite ones.

Thank you, Mary! again and again.

  4. Congratulations again !!! Have fun withall your new goodies !!!

  5. Hi, Meri! I'm SO GLAD you liked the package – it was great fun putting it together for you!I find the hoop works best when the inside ring is bound. I wanted to send you one of the slightly thicker hoops, because I know you use a lot of medium-weight linen, but … I couldn't find the inside ring of the one I have. (I'm awfully disorganized right now!) I think you'll like the smaller hoop, though, too. Welcome home (again)! Have fun with the "loot"!

  6. I can just tell how excited you must have been to receive these beautiful items through the post. Just as excited as when I was lucky enough to win your lovely giveaway. You will most certainly put everything to good use. x
